David Mann is a versatile talent in the entertainment industry, showcasing his prowess as an actor, producer, and director. David reprised the role of “Mr. Brown” for audiences on 2019’s massive Madea’s Farewell Tour. The tour was a sure-fire hit, playing to packed theaters across the country.
David and his wife, Grammy®-winning recording artist and actress Tamela Mann, together helm Tillymann Entertainment. They starred together in the NAACP Image® Award-winning docu-series “The Manns” and the hit comedy “Mann & Wife.” In 2018, the Manns released their first book and joint album, Us Against the World: Our Secrets to Love, Marriage, and Family. The book won a NAACP Image® Award for Outstanding Literary Work and the album continues to garner top-charting singles including the current Urban AC track, “Ups & Downs.”
